Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word*

Last week ended with a rather interesting bang for me (although I am still itching to return to the Sabah Shooting Association to learn how to use a rifle), but this week somehow ended with more of a splat.

Yes, do not drink and fly. That is the lesson of the day.

Half a cup of Milo in my hand + turbulence = My drink jumping out of my cup, onto the ceiling and into the lap of the man sitting beside me. It was rather amusing, but extremely embarrassing at the same time. Well, for me that was…I don’t think he was quite impressed with my numerous apologies. He rushed out of the plane as soon as we landed as if desperate to get away from me.

Urm…what can I say. At least you were wearing dark blue jeans and not white pants right? *smiles innocently*

Good morning Ms. E.

Congratulations on your first day in the maternity ward. I know you are slightly nervous, but don’t be. You are ready. This was always meant to be.

Relax and remember to breathe. Don’t worry and don’t push too hard. You can do it. All you need to do is believe in yourself, be yourself and most importantly, have lots of fun giving birth to all your creative children!

Part III: The Final Countdown***

I am nervous and slightly petrified. In exactly one week I will be in labor and soon, I will be a proud mother.

Raising a child is a huge responsibility and despite certain people questioning my choice, deep down in the pit of my pregnant belly I know that I am making the right decision. This change will be good for me. This change will help me grow.

I have learned as much as I can here, but it’s time to say goodbye and let go.
